Well, here is a again cute puzzle game by Nitrome. MagneBoy offers a very good tutorial (in english) and a very good difficulty progression. 50 levels of fun and challenge.
Magnetics have been used in games for ages, let's also re-play Magnet, and Magneto.

"Desktop Tower Defense" is one of the most popular clone of Flash TD. A very complete review here. The author, Paul Preece and David Scott (author of Flash element TD) have teamed up to make a new site : CasualCollective. You can play a multiplayer version of Desktop Tower Defense there.
