15 Aprilie 2019 Backend update
     The site was storing passwords in clear until now in the database, this was a risky situation in case a hacker breaks into the database. From now on, it's fixed, passwords are hashed and old passwords have been hashed too. I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I'm glad it's done now.

     HUUUUUUUGE UPDATE ON PEPERE.org!!!

Nope... kidding... I just added the "Cookies consent" banner which is a mandatory thing on all EU sites now.

Pepere is 13 years aold now, and still alive (kind of).

I'm still alive too and making games, but not Flash games anymore, only iOS and Android. I'm releasing a new game called "BoneSwiper" in a couple of days on iOS and Android. It will be free so check it out.

Seriously, if you're reading this article on an deserted 13 years old site, you're a rock star. Big hugs to all!

     I wanted to post something on pepere.org and I just realized that I posted exactly one year ago! I'm as regular as clockwork!

I'm very busy with my indie game developer job right now but I'm still visiting pepere.org and adding new games in directory every week.

     Tim Langdell suing anyone who uses the word "edge" without licensing it from him.
In an apparent move to band against Tim Langdell's over aggressive defense of the trademark "EDGE", a number of indie developers have made announcements today that their games will incorporate the EDGE name.

     Pepere este încă prezent!

Recent, nu au mai apărut multe jocuri noi, pe Pepere, dar încă adăugăm 3 jocuri pe săptămână, în directorul de jocuri online, cu un mare ajutor din partea Wormhole şi...
Am lucrat foarte mult la un proiect nou, un nou site şi la jocuri noi. Noul site este aici, în faza de testare: Bonus Level.Org. dacă doriţi să îl testaţi(acum nu este foarte distractiv, sunt doar testări), aveţi nevoie de o invitaţie. Postaţi aici ca să primiţi unul (vă voi trimite un mesaj personal).

Jucătorii Capsules îşi vor da seama imediat că BonusLevel.org este inspirat din acest joc. Capsules este o aventură incredibilă, cu mai mult de 322 de niveluri oficiale şi 500 de niveluri create de către comunitate! M-am gândit că ar fi o idee minunată să creez un site care să fie dedicat în totalitate jocurilor cu editori online.

Până acum, doar un singur joc pe BL, dar foarte curând,un joc nou creat de tonypa şi un altul creat de mine(care se numeşte Rolling Turtle şi foloseşte un motor similar cu cel folosit în Jump gear). Şi, într-o bună zi, Jump Gear 2 va fi lansat pe BL. Aşa că staţi pe-aproape.

Sper ca mai târziu, jocurile lansate pe BL să poată fi jucate, cu scorurile cele mai mari, pe Pepere.org.

19 Mai 2007 În curând, un nou joc
     ÃŽn curând, un nou joc Pepere. Este un mic joc, cu care îţi poÅ£i petrece timpul, numit "Crazy mammoths", o rasă de mamuÅ£i îngheÅ£aÅ£i. Aici puteÅ£i vedea câteva imagini din joc.

6 Aprilie 2007 Altă defecţiune a hard disk-ului
     Din nefericire, încă o dată, hard-disk-ul serverului Pepere.org a căzut. De data aceasta, fără pierdere de date (slavă domnului), toate nivelurile Capsules game sunt în siguranţă!
După ce nu a funcţionat două zile, website-ul este din nou în picioare, dar pentru câteva zile, poate da erori.

13 Ianuarie 2007 Căutăm beta-testeri şi creatori de niveluri
    

Următorul joc se numeşte "Capsules" şi este într-o fază destul de avansată. Este un fel de joc web2.0, în care membrii îşi pot crea propriile niveluri. Sistemul este foarte nou şi am nevoie de persoane care să îl testeze, pentru a să verifica dacă totul funcţionează bine. Cei care vor să îl testeze trebuie să vorbească franceză sau engleză. Scopul este să şi realizăm câteva niveluri bune, în timpul testării. Dacă sunteţi interesaţi, trebuie doar să postaţi un mic comentariu şi voi lua legătura cu voi când va fi gata de testare.

2 Ianuarie 2007 Un nou an fericit! 2007
     Vă salut pe toÅ£i! Un nou an fericit ÅŸi cele mai bune urări pentru 2007!
Încă lucrez la jocuri noi. Bineînţeles, am un Jump gear Level Edition" aproape gata, dar vor mai fi unul (sau 2) alte jocuri înainte ca el să fie lansat. De ce? Pentru că vreau să testez noul sistem de editare şi împărţire al nivelurilor, pe un joc mult mai simplu decât Jump Gear. Noul sistem vă va permite să creaţi niveluri şi să le impărţiţi cu toţi vizitatorii. Nivelurile vor fi moderate, ceea ce înseamnă că unele dintre ele (cele proaste, plictisitoare, deja văzute...) nu vor fi acceptate, astfel că jucătorii nu vor juca aceleaşi niveluri tot timpul, ci numai pe cele care aduc ceva nou.


Principalele evenimente din 2006



- Anul acesta, secţiunea 2xFlash a beneficiat de aproximativ 30 de jocuri noi. Nu suntem creatori profesionişti de jocuri, dar facem tot ce putem să punem la dispoziţie jocuri originale şi distractive. Mulţumesc mult tuturor programatorilor care au avut încredere în Pepere.org pentru prezentarea muncii lor.


- X-man este încă campionul mondial, dar yusuf123 şi abdussamed învaţă foarte repede.

- Jump Gear a devenit foarte popular, cu mai mult de 400000 de vizionări în numai luni de la lansare. Mulţumiri speciale lui Yanism38, abdussamed şi altor jucători foarte buni, pentru interesanta luptă dată pe tabelul celor mai bune scoruri.


Ce urmează?



-Un nou sistem pentru împărţirea nivelurilor

-Jocuri noi

- Perfecţionarea website-ului (favoriţi,notificări prin e-mail, "cine este online" ... printe altele)

18 Iulie 2006 How to make a simple Flash game?
    
I often receive emails from people asking "Hello, could you tell me where I should start to make a Flash game?".

This is not an easy answer. I will give in this article some interesting links to start with and go deeper too. Don't forget that Flash is just a tool. This article focuses on the technical aspect of the game developement but never forget that a game has many other aspects : game and level design, addictive game mechanics, graphics, and above all, it must be fun to play and innovative.

Almost every day game developers send their latest creations to Pepere to be considered for inclusion on our site. One example, is an excellent new game myDiamon by allardp. Two incredible new Java games, miners4K and Fastshoot 2 have also been added recently. The second game is a sequel developed by mig who although already very skilled, somehow manages to amaze us each time he submits a new game to Pepere. qplaygames, has also created some new games which have been added to our growing list. They are, Cold Fusion and my personal favourite, Cyballs
I would like to thank all the developers who have put their trust in Pepere and allowed us to showcase their innovative and creative new games.
Game developers create games for all of us to enjoy and the only way to improve or perfect these games is through feedback from players like you. Please don't hesitate to post constructive comments or suggestions that you think will enhance the games. Giving the game a fair and honest rating also helps improve the creative process. This type of interest, encouragement and even criticism will help the developers improve their craft and hone their skills. This is a win/win opportunity for both players and developers. Players get to "test drive" one of a kind new games and developers are given an opportunity to receive valuable input and encouragement.

A new Pepere game is in the final stages of development and will soon be released. It is based on a soccer theme and will be called, Soccer Challenge...
Many of you have played the newest Pepere game, Ringmania 2. I am happy to say that I have received very good feedback from members and I would like to thank all those who took the time to submit their comments.

I would like to make some changes which I think will improve website.
The first is to create a forum devoted to helping Flash and Java game developers.
Next I am considering a newsletter which members can sign up for. It would come in the form of an email notification letting members know when new games have been added to the site.
It may also be interesting to create sub-categories and include new games in the "Pepere Fights".
Another idea that is under consideration, is a system, possibly using polls, to encourage members to provide opinions and suggestions about what they would like to see added or changed on the site in the future.
Our priority still remains the development of new games, so it may be some time before you see these ideas developed and put into place. ^_^.

27 Martie 2006 Black sunday for the French internet
     Redbus Interhouse (Paris), Data Center where are located our equipments, faced yesterday a major power crisis. Thousands of french websites went down including pepere.org. The intervention on the main dijonctor will take place today. Pepere.org might be unstable once again today.

     We are sorry to anounce that there was a server hard disk crash today. The database was restored from the 9th january. There is a lot of data lost and we I'm sorry for thos who entered high scores and performed translations meanwhile.

31 Decembrie 2005 Happy new year 2006!
     For this brand new year, Pepere.org is of course working on a new game. The main concept is ready, but developping this one will be a hard work. I'm also thinking about a sequel to Ringmania.

I will also try to improve the interface of pepere.org, allowing to send comments about the games of the directory and about the news article.

I will maybe add the possibility to make a donation with Paypal. As developing games is not my main activity, the only way to release more and better games, is money.

This year 2005, after 57376 attempts all over the pepere.org games, congratulations to X-man who has become the champion of the "Pepere.org fights". I'm sure that Rodrigo.Riveros will try to get the title back during the year 2006. By the way, for those who like orkut, Rodrigo has created an orkut pepere.org comunity.

To finish with and as usual, a big thanks to the adminz of pepere.org and the translators from all over the world who spend a little time to help us developping this website.

9 Octombrie 2005 Ringmania is out!
     Ringmania, the new pepere.org flash game is released!
The game concept is a mix between Bubble Bobble, Incas and Tetris but it brings its new ideas.
17 levels (for now) of increasing difficulty, and a level editor is available.
Thanks to HB10 (level 8) and dewas for their contribution.

By the way, the version 8 of the flash player is out, don't foret to upgrade your players. Upgrade.

15 August 2005 Nice new mini game
     A long time since the last news. Pepere.org is still alive. We are still providing the online directory with the best online games we found everyday.
And I want to thank kek for the irritating game he has just submited in the 2xFlash section!
The developpement of the next game (maybe called Bubblemania) is progressing nicely... As usual, thanks to the whole team for the translations and its support.

11 Mai 2005 Games, games and more games
     These are the latest news :
1) You have maybe noticed that the pages are now loading a lot faster on pepere.org. The website is now hosted on a brand new linux server to support the load of the increasing number of visitors. We have now the possibility to think about multiplayer games.
2) Statistics by country are available now for 2xFlash games.
3) Subscirbe to/Unsubscribe from the pepere.org newsletter by editing your profile.
4) The new pepere.org game is out, a game between the classic "Save your base" and "Asteroïds" games, based on keyboard skills : Save the earth.
5) Many new games (Striking saints, Centrifuge, Diams, ...) uploaded on the 2xFlash section by flash game developpers. We thank all of them for their creativity and for trusting pepere.org.

Acestea sunt ultimele striri pepere.org:

1) The pepere.org new flash game is out, Un joc greu despre un mai vechi joc numit "Bilboquet". A fost frumos in crearea lui, numai ca franghia non-elastica a fost ca un puzzle in chineza.

2) 2xFlash este un nou spatiu dedicat jucatorilor si programatorilor jocurilor flash. Acum poti sa adaugi jocul tau flash pe pepere.org, cu posibilitatea sa implementezi "cele mai inalte scoruri", reluari si adaugari de propriul tau google adsense pentru a recompensata munca ta. Inca 2 jocuri au fost adaugate, competitia unicycle si saritura cavalerului de gfxmonk si davidw. Va multumim!

3) Mai mult de 8000 de persoane sunt inscrise pe pepere.org.

4) Ca de obicei, le multumim adminz-ilor pepere.org si tuturor translatorilor pentru munca lor in traducerea si moderarea pepere.org in mai multe limbi!
